COVID-19 Spring Season Update

Today was supposed to be opening day of our spring recreational season. This is a day that the Board of Directors looks forward to every year after months of work that starts right after the end of fall season from the year before. But this year is different, and unlike any one of us has seen in our lifetimes. With all of the uncertainties surrounding covid-19, we pushed back our start date several times and today have come to the realization that we must cancel the season. This is in alignment with Indiana Soccer Association’s announcement today that all ISL play, including Cups, is canceled for the spring season.

Many of you have reached out already inquiring about the return of your registration fees. We will be refunding 100% of the money you have paid in minus the $3 fee charged by our vendor. If you paid a non-volunteer fee, it will be returned to you. Late registration fees will be returned as well. We also realize that many of our families may be experiencing financial difficulties at this time. For that reason, we want you to know that you may request a refund in lieu of a credit. You may do this by emailing [email protected] PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS. If you have not requested a refund by April 30th, a credit will be placed on your account. Please allow 2-4 weeks for refunds to be processed.

We hope you’ll consider joining us in June for our 3v3 season. More information will be forthcoming. This is a fast paced, small sided game that gives the player many touches on the ball. Fall registrations will be opening soon, as well.

In the meantime, please remember that soccer training can happen in your backyard as easily as on our fields. We are committed to developing our players and will be exploring creative ways to continue doing that during these historical times. Please listen to your government officials and stay home, stay safe, and stay healthy.

Until we see each other again, remember that we’re all in this together. We value you all!
